P-type. These models have the new multi position Brompton bars, perfect for general use around town or country and long trips. P3L. With its three well-chosen gears, this is a popular bike for those who want portable daily transport without extra features. Colour black and silver.
P-type. The classic shape of the M-type handlebar has been used on the Brompton since the outset. It gives a fairly upright ride with excellent control. Lower grip height is 880mm, and there is scope for a little fore/aft adjustment. Upper position is at 1033mm above ground and it is a perfect spot for maneouvring in the city.
The P-type is a bit heavier than an M-type, and there’s less room for over-filling a front pannier, but it’s the best choice for longer distances and touring, or if you intend to do some fast riding. Shown here is the P6R-Plus and P3L.
